Chapter Blood Center Hours and Appointments Our blood donation center is open three days a week, during the following hours: Tuesday: 1 PM - 7 PM Thursday: 1 PM - 7 PM Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM

The Need for Blood In the United States, approximately every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion. The Red Cross works to avoid both shortages of blood and excesses in the supply by carefully planning blood drives and by scheduling donors for fixed locations.
